Article dated 01/07/08 Features: The cold weather slows fishing during first week of January and outlook of its affect on fishing. Grouper moving closer to show and how to fish for them.  King Mackerel surprise angler's as warm water keeps them here.  
Article dated 01/19/08 Features: Watching for weather fronts; fishing good when we can get out.  The current depths for catching fish and what species. Recently flounder is being found on the sandy bottom but may also move over limestone.  Good supply of Silver Trout closer in to the beaches.  Back-water fishing for trout, snook and redfish going great. Sheepshead fishing to pickup next month and where to find them.
Article dated 02/05/08 Features: Hard to believe winter his here - a good time for fishing and Florida is the Fishing Capital  of the World.  Spanish and King Mackerel should soon be arriving.  Little Tunny fishing and the nig fight they put up.   Bottom fishing has been great and we expect that trend to continue.  Snook season opened and are in abundance. Sheepshead fishing is one of the winter/spring season standby fish and can be tricky to catch.
Article dated 02/17/08 Features: Spring is just around the corner, expecting King Mackerel around March 15th. Catching Little Tuny; expecting the offshore waters to be full of of the Tunny, Spanish and the King mackerel soon.  Catching grouper and snapper. Grouper fishing closed in Federal Waters but not in State Waters; state line begins 9 miles from shore.  Closer to shore there are abundant schools of silver trout. 
Article dated 03/01/08 Features: Spring has sprung, smaller king mackerel are here signaling the upcoming arrival of the big king mackerel.  Grouper opens in Federal Water on the 15th.  Inshore the pompano have made their way inside the passes. Also inshore, the redfish are showing up and how to catch them.
Article dated 03/16/08 Features: Big changes offshore with king coming in strong.  The migration and size of the king mackerel; where they can be found.  Spanish Mackerel - where they are found and how to catch them.  Federal closure on Grouper ended March 15th and anglers rushed out as soon as weather and law allowed.  Reports of snook being found along the beach passes, backwater redfish and trout are going great.  This is the month for Sheepshead and where to find them.
Article dated 03/31/08 Features: King mackerel have taken up temporary residence right here off the Pinellas coast. The spring kings are running from around 24 inches up to about 30 pounds Great king action during this month, and until the end of May. Best fishing for Spanish mackerel is from several hundred yards offshore out to around four miles. Grouper fishing has really fired up with the spring warm-up. Shark fishing will turn on with the arrival of the king mackerel.
Article dated 04/13/08 Features: King mackerel have invaded the beaches with many of the reports from just south of Tampa Bay indicating  there are several big schools headed here.  Spanish mackerel location and best time to find them. Sharks and their habits and where they can be found.  Recent fishing charter catching a 250 pound shark. From now until the end of summer great shark action can be found.  Cobia are starting to show up.  Grouper seem to be just about everywhere - shallow water and deep water offshore ledges.
Article dated 04/28/08 Features: King mackerel still on the top of the fishing list for this month.  Spanish mackerel an be found closer to the beach; when and how to catch them; where to find the most activity whether in a boat on bridges or piers; sharks habits and the best time to seek out the hammerheads.  Black-tipped, lemon, bull, dusky, black-nose, spinner, brown, white-tipped, bonnet and nurse sharks are common, and occasionally a tiger shark - Florida is the one of the best areas in Florida to test your fishing ability on them
Article dated 05/28/08 Features: Changes in the making for summer fishing activity.  When and where to find Snook and Tarpon, Pompano and redfish, Grouper and snapper and sharks. Bottom fishing for grouper and snapper has picked up considerably; the bait to use and how to catch them.  We are still catching a good number of sharks during our afternoon and evening fishing trips - the bait to use.  Blackfin tuna are the highlight of deepwater adventures during the month of June and July. Blackfin tuna are feeding from the offshore shrimp boats - advise fishing for these tuna before the arrival of the offshore shrimp boats.
